Our Little Home

This post is inspired by my mother. I told her I made a blog so she looked at it... and liked it... but said that she wants more! She wants to see pictures of our little apartment.... So here it is!

This is the building. Well not our building but they all look the same. They are brand new apartments. The APX clan were the very first ones to occupy these. In fact they are still building more.

This is our living room. You can see that we have moved the chair to better see the TV. The TV is actually not ours but some of Josh's co-workers let me use it so I could stay sane! We are on the bottom level. You can see a blue blanket on the floor.. that is Jex's play area. He loves to lay on the blanket and play with his little fox.

This is the dining room. I actually love table that they put in here for us. Unfortunately I dont keep it clean enough for it to really look good. Josh loves to come home and take off his APX shirt and for some reason he feels like the best place for it is the table... normally I pick them up but I am trying to get him to learn how to put his clothes in the bedroom. Its a training process =)

his is our little kitchen. It is actually not that small. It works perfect for here because we pretty much have nothing. Not a lot of pots and pans or dishes so it is all good. As you can tell it looks all new... which it is. I am glad we get to be the first ones to live in here!

This would be our bathroom. Not much to say about a bathroom...

And our bedroom! I dont know if you can tell but that would be Jex taking his nap on our bed. He is so precious. Anyway, this bed is probably the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. But at least it is not on the floor.. so I am thankful.

Last is the closet aka Jex's Room. It gets light here about 4:45a. Originally Jex was sleeping by our bed. That changed very quickly after a very sleepless night the first night we were here. When it would get light he was waking up and not going back to sleep. He does much better in the closet. I think it was a great idea... Josh just laughs about it he seems to find a lot of humor in the fact that he is sleeping there.

Well thats it! There is our living quarters in Baldwinsville, New York. This little area is all new development. Also in this area they are building custom homes. It is all on a golf course.. which at this time only has 9 holes. I imagine someday it will be pretty nice. They were promising a playground for the little kids and a pool, which are the main reasons APX chose this place, however the playground is no where to be seen and the pool is in a bunch of dirt with orange construction tape around it. There is water in it but it is not ready yet. So we were all bummed about that. Good thing it rains a lot here so we really wouldnt be able to swim anyway. But it is all good! Although, we are excited to move to Albany on Sunday. There we will be staying in a hotel. So I will update you all after we move in!
