So, our apartment complex here got tickets for everyone for this weekend to go to the zoo. You could go Friday, Saturday or Sunday. We chose sunday so that we could all go together since Sunday is Joshs only day off. We were so excited. And one of the best things is that it was all FREE! They even gave us a parking pass which was nice since parking was $5. We had a great time. We got there right at 10 when it opened hoping that it wouldnt be too hot or crowded, well it was both. We were all sweating pretty much from the time we got out of the car. Gotta love the humidity! Jex loved to see the animals. I think his favorites were the turtles. When he would see the animals he would give a quick "oooooo" and lose interest. Good thing I came prepared with lots of snacks and water because food there was riduclously expensive. Josh thought he wanted to soda until he realized that they were $2.50 a pop. We were there for about 2.5 hours. We made it through the whole thing. Here are pictures of some of our favorite things.
This picture was before we left, always have to start the day off with some sportscenter. Jex really isnt a tv watcher (yet) but he always is interested in sportscenter. Its Joshs dream come true!
