Our New Home... Albany, NY

We finally made it! On Sunday July 12, 2009 we left Baldwinsville, NY and headed for Albany. We will remain here for the rest of the summer. It was about a two hour drive. I think everyone had a lot more stuff than they thought. We planned on leaving at noon, then it changed to 3 and we ended up leaving at 5:30! It is always a lot of work to move no matter how much stuff you have! We are staying at a place called Towne Suites by Marriott. It is an extended stay hotel. There are great benefits to this hotel.... 1. Maid service once a week, 2. Free Breakfast!, 3. They supply toilet paper, clean towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner.. etc. It is a lot smaller than where we were before but it is going to be just fine! Here are some pics.

This is our Kitchen! It is so great! The stove/oven is so cute. It is just a little thing. We bought a cookie sheet that we were using at the other place and it doesnt fit in this oven! Josh says this would be perfect for a midget! We are close enough. The fridge is small as well... but not too small. One of Joshs co-workers was pretty funny and said that Josh and I could probably fit in it together just fine...right after he got done saying that it was a mini fridge =)

Our Bed! This bed is amazing! I cant even describe the difference between this bed and the one at the apartment! It is so nice! I wake up every morning feeling refreshed instead of waking up with my back aching feeling really old! I shouldnt feel old... not yet!

This is a view standing at the front door. To the left is our desk. In front of the desk is Jex's pack and play. Poor guy is trying to now adjust to his 4th place of living in his 4 1/2 months of life. He is so great though. He does well. He hasnt been sleeping great but we will get back to normal just in time to go home! The couch is also a hide-a-bed... so if anyone wants to come visit.... You can see that there is little Jex sitting in the chair (a close up to follow).

Here he is! He is such a big guy! He loves to sit up... he actually loves to stand more but since he cant do that in the chair he will settle with sitting. He cant sit up on his own but he will soon enough!

There is a pool here. Our pool is outside so we cant really use that one yet. Across the parking lot, however, there is another Marriott that we get to take advantage of. That pool is inside and also has a hot tub. We took Jex last night for his first time. I am not going to say he loved it. It is not quite as warm as his bath. He didnt last long... just long enough to take a picture!

Me and Jex sitting by the hot tub. You can see Jex has his little robe on... So cute! He had just gotten out of the pool. It was really steamy by the hot tub but we were content with just our feet in.

Well that is it! Our new place of living for the next few weeks. We miss everyone and cant wait to be home in August! We will get to do some fun things while we are here so we look forward to that and are so thankful for this great opportunity Josh has to work and make money out here. He is doing great and working hard and we know that it is going to be worth it! Thanks for all your support. We love you!
