Josh.Nakina.Jex.Orissa: More Texas Fun

Oh Texas. Everything is going well here. Josh is doing good at his job and Jex and I are doing good just hanging out. We get pretty lonely sometimes since Josh is gone so much. Josh drives the car for work so we are here at the apartment all day. Lately I have been feeling like I might lose my mind. Usually it is super hot here in Texas and since we are so lucky to have a pool here at our apartment complex we spend a lot of time there. That helps a lot, gives us something to do and get out of the apartment. This past week it has been raining like crazy so we have only been able to go to the pool one day this week. The days have seemed longer but we will survive! I would have to say that I would rather be couped up in the apartment than out knocking doors like my wonderful, hard working husband does!
Everything is going good with the pregnancy. I am 16 weeks now and feeling great! I have no complaints. I have been trying to go to our little gym here every morning. I havent been as faithful as I was at first but I am making it about 4 times a week.
We were so lucky last week my parents, Logan and Malia came to visit us! They flew in late Wednesday night and left early Sunday morning. Boy, were we happy to see them! I was counting down the days until they got here but hoping that time wouldnt pass so quick when they were here. Of course it did and we were so sad to see them go! Jex absolutely loved to see all of them. He had so much and stimulation. I was wishing that they could have stayed until we come for our visit home in about 2 weeks. We got to celebrate my dads birthday with him which was SO much fun! I am so bad at remembering to take pictures, so I think I have a few when they were here but only from the first day and only of Logan and Jex. I know, I am so mad at myself but I think my mom got some good ones so I will have to get copies. We were so glad that my family would choose to take their summer vacation here in hot, humid Texas to come visit us. We are so lucky and love them so much!
JEX UPDATE: 1. He is the cutest little boy ever! 2. He loves to play soccer (kick around his soccer ball) 3. He surprises me everyday with a new word he can say. 4. Eats like a champ. 5. Is the messy haired kid. 6. Got a HUGE growing spurt when we got here and has pretty much grown out of most of his clothes and shoes! 7. Makes me laugh and smile every second of the day. 8. Is a great napper/sleeper. 9. LOVES to swim, which he can do all by himself, with floaties of course. 10. Loves his dad, every morning he gets up and runs into our bedroom yelling "DAD"! 11. Loves to stand on his toys. 12. Has extremely blonde hair. 13. Is tan. 14. Grows teeth really slowly and in odd orders. Right now he has a snaggle tooth and it is pretty hillarious. 15. Is still crazy about his blankies, and yes still sucks on them (only the fuzzy ones, and it has to be the right kind of fuzzy). 16. Doesnt walk, he runs. 17. Is growing up WAY too fast! There he is, in a nutshell. This little boy owns my heart that is for sure! He makes my days so much better. I love him so much and cant believe how fast he is growing. I have loved every single stage and cant wait for what is to come. About a month or so ago I started putting him in time-outs. It has worked like a charm. He probably has a time out at least once a day but he gets it, which is so good. It has helped him listen so much better and cured some bad habits he was picking up. I think I should have started time-outs a long time ago! He is going to be the best big brother! We love him more than anything.
Our trip to Boise is coming up so fast... 2 weeks and counting! Josh only gets to be there from the 16th to the 18th but we will be able to stay for a while longer! We cannot wait!

His first day with floaties, at first he wasnt so sure about them. But now he loves it. He jumps in and floats all over the place. It is the cutest thing.

On Fathers Day we went to six flags with another couple that Josh works with. We had a good time but it was SO hot that day. We couldnt wait to get home and hit the pool.
