We're Back!

So I am like WAY late on this post.... but better late than never. We came home July 16th (friday) flew in from Dallas, our plane left at 6am. We had planned that all of us would be coming home because Josh's sister Ashley was getting married, then Josh would go back on Sunday and Jex and I were going to stay for two weeks then go back to Texas. Josh did go back to Texas, but Jex and I didnt. While we were still here visiting Josh decided he was ready to be done. So he packed up the apartment all by himself and drove back about 3 weeks before we had originally planned. I have to say it was nice for me that I didnt have to fly back to Texas and only be there for 2 weeks then come back here. We are so happy to be home. It was amazing how long it took us to get the house back together. Since we are making what was our office into the babys room we have been doing a lot of rearranging and it has been really fun to get things more organized and ready for the new sweet addition.
By the way, ITS A GIRL! I think I was totally expecting it to be a boy, mainly because this pregnancy has been even easier than with Jex (which I didnt think could be any easier). So I thought if I was having a girl maybe things would be different. So I am definitely happy to know that I was made to be pregnant whether its a girl or boy! =) Also, there just seems to be a lot of boys in our family so I just thought well it will probably be a boy and of course Josh was hoping for another boy so I think he had me convinced that he didnt produce anything but boys...... much to his surprise it is a girl! I am way excited and it will be so fun to see, cuddle, kiss this sweet little girl. We are naming her Orissa Rayne Lujan. I know that Jex will be such a good older brother. He is just the cutest little boy, he likes to pull up my shirt and rub my belly saying baby =).
Jex is now sleeping in a big boy bed! Well it isnt a crib anyway, it is the cutest little toddler bed EVER! I love it. He does so good too, he doesnt fight bed time so he has no problem staying in it.... initially. When I first lay him down he goes right to sleep however by morning he is laying on his floor. I havent heard him up at night so I am not sure how long he is awake when he moves to the floor but everything is always in the same place as the night before. Last night he made it all the way through the night in his bed so I think he got the hang of it.
Josh started school and is taking 18 credits this semester. He is back working at papa johns and is helping coach the varsity boys soccer team at mountain view. He is also playing on an indoor team. So he is busy busy busy or course!
We are all healthy and happy! =)

  1. Yay!!!! A GIRL!!! How exciting! I miss you guys! Everything happened so fast, wish we could rewind and slow everything down just a couple of notches. The summer flew by. Hope you're doing well, and go Boise State!
